Starting A New Adventure!

Let me first start by saying welcome to my blog! I have decided to start this website in order to keep track of my fiance and I's adventures over the next couple of months, years, etc. I also hope this blog will serve as a way to connect with friends and family and to swap ideas/advice with others when it comes to wedding planning, DIY house projects, and many other fun life events.

Over the past two months I have been extremely busy! I completed my graduate degree, recently got engaged to my favorite friend and partner in crime, and we are just about close on our first home in 2 days!!! As of right now we are "house crazy" trying to buy basics to get us started. I have quickly become a huge fan of thrift shops and any store offering a great deal. I love the thrill of "the search!"At the same time I must admit I am very picky and hope to make our home fun and stylish. In this case I plan to get back in touch with my "crafty" side and try some "do it yourself or DIY" projects. I hope to share many of these projects with you.

As for wedding planning, we have not set a date officially. We promised ourselves that we would take some time to just truly enjoy this special time in our lives and just enjoy being engaged. Once we are more settled in the house, we will begin all the fun planning details and I will more than happy to share! Feel free to share any advice or tips you may have too!
