And the move in begins.... and continues!

I am finally feeling completely 110% better!! So the process of moving into the house has begun! And will probably continue for awhile! I had no clue as to how much of a "process" moving is. I moved a lot with my family before the age of 5, but I assume I was not much help then (Especially the move where both my brother and I decided to get chicken pox at the hotel we stayed in). Hmmm... Maybe there is something linked between moving, me, and illness! Let's hope not! :) So last weekend we offically started taking all our furniture to the house. We are still working on clothing and small items, as well as waiting for our mattress to come in. So as of right now we are sort of going back and forth between our parents' and the house. Hopefully by early next week, we will be completely moved in and fully living there! In the mean time we have been do small odd jobs around the house, like having the cable guy come out (If you know Chris, you will know why this is VERY important), and fixing toilets. I also got very ambitious the other night and tore down all the plastic tile in our upstairs bathroom. I know I say it like "oh yeah! let me just demo this on whim!" But honestly I had it out for those plastic tiles from the beginning and to top it off the previous owners (or renters) left them in a disgusting state. Toothpaste on the wall, old used tissue, eck! So I just felt the need to pull it all down and start new. Here are some pictures of before and after
(or in progress) I took:

Now I am brainstorming ideas of what I should do next. Should buy the solvent that removes all the tile glue you see or should I cover it with wainscoting so it will look something like this bathroom featured on the This Old House website:

I will keep you posted as to what we decide and hopefully will have some pretty bathroom photos soon to share! :)
